Kobe Bryant was born on August 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is an American professional basketball player who plays shooting guard for LA Lackers at NBA. He started his successful basketball career at Lower Merion High School, where he get a recognition for the best high school basketball player in the USA. He was selected as the 13th pick in the NBA Draft 1996 by Charlotte Hornets and they traded them to Los Angles Lakers. Kobe get a 5 NBA championships and 2 finals. Last two championships he won in 2009 and 2010 and was named 2 times as NBA MVP 2009-2010. In 2003 he was involed in sexual scandal, affter being accused for sexual assault by 19 year old Katelyn Faber. Faber accused Bryant of raping her in his hotel room and the assault case was droped after she refused to testify in the trial. At the 2008 Olympic in Bejiing with USA Men’s Senior National Team he won a gold medal. He also commited that he will play for the national team at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In November 1999 he met Vanessa Laine and they married on April 18, 2001. They have two daughters: Natalia Diamante Bryant which was born on January 19, 2003 and second Gianna Maria Onore Bryant was born May 1, 2006.
