Justin Bieber BiographyJustin Bieber (full name: Justin Drew Bieber) is a Canadian pop musician, songwriter and actor.

Born on March 1, 1994, in London, Ontario, Justin was discovered by Scooter Braun in 2008, when he saw Justin’s YouTube videos. Scooter later became his manager, and arranged him a meeting with entertainer and singer Usher Raymond in Atlanta, Georgia. He was later signed off a deal with Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG). Justin then struck a recording deal with L.A. Reid of Island Records.

Justin’s released his first single, “One Time”, while still recording his debut album. The song peaked at No. 12 on the Canadian Hot 100 charts during the first week of its release in July 2009. The single later reached No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100, and by fall 2009, it became an international success. He released his debut album of seven tracks, My World, in November 2009, and the record was classified Platinum in the US. He became the first singer to have seven songs from a debut album to be listed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In March 2010, Justin released the full version of album, My World 2.0, a follow up of his first album, My World. The album debuted at or almost No.1 in many countries and was certified Platinum in the US. The lead single from the album, “Baby”, which featured Ludacris, was released in January 2010, and became a worldwide hit. It reached at No.5 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and listed at many top ten lists on several international markets. The album reached No.1 spot on the US Billboard 200, making Justin the youngest ever recording artist to top the chart ever since Stevie Wonder did it in 1963. My World 2.0 also reached at No.1 on the Album Charts of Canada, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand, and peaked at top ten in 15 other countries.

Justin appeared on numerous live shows, including The View, Nightline, the 2010 Kids Choice Awards, the Late Show with David Letterman, 106 & Park, and The Dome to promote the album. The released of his debut album was followed up with his first tour, the My World Tour.

In October 2011, Justin announced that he would release an acoustic album, My Worlds Acoustic. This was followed by the released of a 3D half bio, half concert movie, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never on February 2011. The same month, Justin released his second remix album, Never Say Never – The Remixes, which featured remixed songs of his first album with guest appearances from Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus and Kanye West, among others.

In November 2011, Justin released his second studio album, Under the Mistletoe. The album debuted No.1 on the Billboard 200. In June 2012, he released his third studio album, Believe, which reached No.1 on the Billboard 200, and his fourth No.1 album in the US.

Justin has received many awards, which includes Artist of the Year Awards at the 2010 and 2012 American Music Awards. He also won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards. In June 2011, Forbes placed Justin #2 in their list of Best-Paid Celebrities under 30. In 2012 Forbes named him as the third-most powerful celebrity in the world. With fans all over the world, called as “Beliebers”, Justin has more than 40 million followers on Twitter.

In the previous 12 months, Justin has earned an estimated US$55 million. As of May 2012, Justin has sold around 15 million records.
